The Importance Of Conscious Discipline In Early Childhood Education

The growth of an infant and toddler, both physically and intellectually, is absolutely incredible.

Through our Creative Curriculum, the tiny tots here in Jupiter are taught using Conscious Discipline. Conscious Discipline is a methodology that encompasses everything Tiny Turtles strives to teach. According to the Conscious Discipline website, “Conscious Discipline integrates social-emotional learning, discipline, and self-regulation so you spend less time policing behaviors and more time teaching vital life skills.” By adopting Conscious Discipline to teach our Creative Curriculum, the tiny tots are actively involved in life’s social situations at a young age. Whether it’s playing together in a band with musical instruments or sitting quietly while listening to a story, your children are actively engaged.
Conscious Discipline focuses on four areas – brain model, safety, school/family connection, and problem solving – to offer your child success. We are proud to adopt this methodology at a young age to give your infants, toddlers, and young children a strong educational and life skills foundation.
